Prendas Chambéry 1989 Celebration Cycling Jersey

One of our all-time favourite cycling photographs is of a very wet finish of the 1989 World Championships that were held on a very tough circuit in Chambéry, France. One of the last championships to be held in August, Greg Lemond was crowned a worthy World Champion completing the rare Tour de France/Worlds double. The design features a silhouette of the Greg Lemond (USA), Dimitri Konyshev (USSR), Sean Kelly (IRL) and Steven Rooks (NED) sprinting for the honour of wearing the rainbow jersey for the following year.
